ISCL Individual Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Membership Fees
Membership fees (annual dues) and application fees must be paid in full at the time of application or renewal. All fees are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Non-Refundable Policy: All membership and application fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
Grace Period (Optional): If a cancellation request is submitted in writing within 14 days of payment and before any membership benefits are accessed, ISCL may waive the current year’s membership fee. Application fees remain non-refundable.
After this period, memberships are non-cancellable, and all fees are fully earned.
3. Denied Applications
If an application does not meet the eligibility requirements for the tier applied for:
– No refund will be issued.
– ISCL will notify the applicant and, where possible, advise whether they may qualify for a different membership tier.
– Applicants may accept a transfer to the lower tier (where eligible) without paying an additional application fee.
– Applicants denied membership at any level may reapply at any time, but they must submit a new application and pay the applicable fees again.
4. Appeals
Applicants who believe their application was incorrectly assessed may file an appeal, following the ISCL Appeals Policy, within 30 days of notification.
5. Renewal and Lapse
Membership is valid for one year from the date of approval.
Renewal requires payment of annual dues and reaffirmation of the ISCL Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.
Lapsed members may reinstate by contacting the Membership Team and paying the applicable renewal fee.
6. Code of Ethics
All members must agree to and uphold the ISCL Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.
Violations may result in disciplinary action, suspension, or revocation without refund of fees.
7. Credentials and Recognition
Credentialed coaches and recognition holders’ digital badges will be administered via Certifier.
Credentialed coach details will be included in the ISCL Public Coaches Directory.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by emailing support@isclinstitute.org.
8. Authority
These Terms & Conditions are issued under the authority of the Institute for Safety Coaching and Leadership (ISCL) and apply to all individual membership categories.
ISCL Member and Partner Agreement
As a member, partner, or collaborator of the Institute for Safety Coaching and Leadership (ISCL), I affirm my commitment to uphold the values, principles, and professional standards of this Code.
By signing this agreement, I declare:
Curiosity: I will keep learning, ask better questions, and listen deeply.
Clarity: I will communicate simply, set boundaries clearly, and stay true to my purpose.
Courage: I will challenge harmful norms, speak up for what is right, and hold myself to moral clarity.
Credibility: I will act within my competence, seek support when needed, and ground my work in evidence.
Connection: I will treat every person with dignity, build trust, and collaborate with humility across cultures and contexts.
Integrity: I will be honest, fair, and transparent, even when it is difficult or inconvenient.
I accept responsibility for my influence, my choices, and my impact.
I will protect confidentiality, respect boundaries, and honor the trust placed in me.
I will hold myself accountable, and I accept that ISCL will hold me accountable as well.
This agreement is not a formality. It is a daily practice.
